駐場電影人計劃: 工作坊 / Filmmaker-in-Residence：Workshop

首位駐場電影人是張經緯導演，張導演最為人知曉的作品，首推2009年公映的紀錄長片《音樂人生》。此片在第四十六屆金馬獎奪得最佳紀錄片、最佳剪接及最佳音效，成為金馬獎史上獲獎最多的紀錄片。這工作坊將由張經緯導演主講 （廣東話），共六小時。 6月4日（星期日）舉行。不容錯過。

紀錄片 • 純電影• 自由（對比劇情片）

The first Filmmaker-in-Residence is Director Cheung King-Wai, one of his popular works is KJ: Music and Life, the documentary shown in 2009. The winner of the Best Documentary, Best Film Editing and Best Sound Effects in the 46th Golden Horse Awards. It is the only documentary winning most awards in the history of Golden Horse Awards.

This workshop will be chaired by Cheung King-Wai (In Cantonese, a total of 6 hours) on 4 June. Don't miss this golden chance.

Documentary∙Pure Film∙Freedom ( in contrast with Feature Film)

Definitions of 3 key words (2 hours) : 4/6 (11:00-13:00)
- Introduction of different kinds of Documentaries, such as Herzog, Sokurow: It is a big world
- Pure creation: a bit of rare happiness
- Freedom and limitation of documentaries: Original sin of documentaries

A brief talk on documentary’s skills (2 hours): 4/6 (14:00-16:00)
- “Presumption” is the root of all technical problems
- “Editing” is the scriptwriting of documentary
- “Voices” is also processed

Contrast with Feature Films (2 hours): 4/6 (16:00-18:00)
- The past and present of feature films and documentaries
- Selected screening of Kiarostami’s “Close Up”
- Three origins of feature film’s ideas
- About the performance
