上一代看下一代，總是看得不順眼。從破世界紀錄的萬人音樂會同唱《歡樂頌》開始，跟拍九位新生代，他們愛音樂或寫作，來自不同家庭背景，卻都乏人聆聽他們的心底話。成人說要讀大學、找安穩的工作，年輕人卻拒絕盲從主流，要活出自我。金馬獎導演張經緯繼《音樂人生》後，再度傾聽少年說，透視今天，預示未來，透過年輕人的手，寫一封給香港的家書。

Generation gaps always exist. Adults ask teenagers to go to university and then look for a stable job, while teenagers reject following the mainstream blindly. Such differences and misunderstandings create conflicts. Nine music-lovers open their hearts to talk about their sweet and bitter moments. Golden Horse Awards winner, director King Wai CHEUNG portrays today’s Hong Kong teenagers, reflecting the present and pointing to the future of Hong Kong. The Taste of Youth is an open letter to the young, to those who were young once and to those who care about youth.
